Preferences

Customize how AssetFlow displays and handles your data. Open Settings from the menu bar (AssetFlow > Settings) or press Cmd+,.

Main Currency

Choose the currency used to display all portfolio values across the app. When your portfolio includes assets in different currencies, AssetFlow converts everything to this main currency using fetched exchange rates.

Select your preferred currency from the dropdown. See Currencies & Exchange Rates for the full list of supported currencies.

Date Format

Choose how dates are displayed throughout the app. Several format options are available, and a live preview shows you exactly how dates will appear so you can pick the style that feels most natural.

Import Defaults

Set a default platform name that pre-fills during CSV import. If you frequently import from the same brokerage or platform, this saves you from typing the same name every time.

About

The About section shows:

• App version and build number
• Developer info and license
• Privacy information:
  • All data is stored locally on your Mac
  • Exchange rates are fetched from cdn.jsdelivr.net
  • No personal data is collected or transmitted
• Source code — a link to the project's GitHub repository

Tip

If you switch your main currency, all portfolio values and charts update immediately to reflect the new currency. Exchange rates are used for the conversion, so make sure rates have been fetched for your snapshots.
